Welcome to His Lightkeepers Publishing. By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Please read them.

WHO WE ARE

His Lightkeepers Publishing publishes the "I Was There" children's book series and related materials. You can reach us at info.hislightkeepers@gmail.com.

USING THIS SITE

You may browse, shop, and share our pages freely. You agree not to use this site to break the law, to interfere with how it works for anyone else, or to copy our content for commercial purposes without written permission.

You must be at least 18 to place an order. If you are younger, a parent or guardian needs to order for you.

OUR BOOKS AND ARTWORK BELONG TO US

Every book, illustration, character, page design, and piece of writing on this site is the property of His Lightkeepers Publishing and is protected by copyright.

You may not reproduce, scan, photocopy, redistribute, sell, or create derivative works from any of it without our written permission. That includes reading the books aloud in a published video or recording, and it includes using the illustrations in your own materials.

You are welcome to read our books aloud to children in your home, classroom, or congregation. That is what they are for.

If you want to use our material in a way not covered here, email us and ask. We are a small publisher and we answer.

PRICES AND PRODUCT INFORMATION

Prices are in US dollars and can change without notice. We try to describe and photograph every book accurately, but colors vary between screens and printings, and we do not warrant that every description is complete or error free.

If we discover an error in the price or description of something you have ordered, we will contact you before charging you, and you may cancel.

ORDERS

Placing an order is an offer to buy, not a completed sale. We may decline or cancel any order, including after it is placed, for reasons including stock, a pricing error, or a suspected fraudulent transaction. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we refund you in full.

PAYMENT

Payments are handled by Shopify and its payment providers. We do not store your card details.

PHOTOS AND OTHER THINGS YOU SEND US

If you send us a photo, review, or message, whether through a form on this site, by email, or on social media, you confirm that it is yours to share and that you have permission from anyone shown in it, including any children.

You give us permission to use what you send on our website, social media, and printed materials, unless you tell us otherwise. You are not paid for this. You can ask us to take something down at any time and we will.

We will never publish a child's full name, school, or location.

LINKS TO OTHER SITES

We sometimes link to other websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for what they contain.

NO WARRANTY

This site and everything on it is provided as is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error free, or free of anything harmful, though we take reasonable care.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent the law allows, His Lightkeepers Publishing is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or our products. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the order the claim relates to.

Some states do not allow these limitations, in which case they apply to you only as far as the law permits.

GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules.

CHANGES

We may update these terms. The version on this page is the one that applies. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.

We may use photographs you send on our website, social media, and printed materials. We will never publish a child's full name, school, or location. You can ask us to remove a photograph at any time by emailing info.hislightkeepers@gmail.com, and we will.

We do not sell photographs you send us or share them with advertisers.
